The City of Sedalia’s yard waste facility at 28th and New York is now closed to allow workers to grind up debris on the property to ensure public safety, said Public Works Director Bill Beck last week.

A temporary site has been established 100 yards to the south on the west wide of New York, he noted. Signs to that effect will be posted to those wanting to bring yard waste to the facility.
