LWV forum attracts 10 candidates

The League of Women Voters of Pettis County sponsored a candidate forum on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at the Sedalia Municipal Building, 200 S. Osage. The one hour, 45-minute event was moderated by Mary Merritt.

The forum featured 10 candidates, including: District 51 State Rep candidates Gary L. Grigsby, Dean A. Dohrman and Bill Wayne; District 52 State Rep candidates Phyllis Sue Domann and Stanley B. Cox; Pettis County Commission candidates Earl Luebbering, Brent Hampy and Gregg Foster (eastern) and Randy Dillon and Jim Marcum (western).

All candidates made an opening statement, then later answered questions from audience members, who submitted them in writing. Photos by Randy Kirby, Sedalia News Journal.
