Dr. Terence Robertson has joined the staff of Bothwell Regional Health Center as an anesthesiologist.
He received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kan., and completed his residency in anesthesiology at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.
Robertson has served temporary anesthesiology assignments at health-care facilities in the Kansas City area, Rolla and Springfield. He also served as the preoperative medical director and chairman of the Department of Anesthesia at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo.
Robertson is board certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
“Dr. Robertson brings a great deal of experience and depth in anesthesiology to Bothwell,” said John Dawes, president and chief executive officer of Bothwell Regional Health Center. “We are very happy to have him as a regular member of our medical staff.”
In his role at Bothwell, Robertson will be involved with anesthesia care, including pre-surgical assessment, delivery of anesthesia during surgery and post-surgical pain control. The anesthesia department also initiates and monitors labor epidurals in Women’s Health Care.
