Video ad firm installs screens at Mathewson

Visitors to the Mathewson Exhibition Center on the Missouri State Fairgrounds will get to experience events in a whole new way. JAM Marketing, a Sedalia based strategic communications firm, has installed 55” LCD screens above each of the concession area windows, and two 6’ x 10’ ultra high resolution LED message centers inside the arena.

“These screens will enhance the experience of patrons attending events at the Mathewson Exhibition Center all year long,” said JAM Marketing Owner John Rooks. “Mid-Missouri Outlaws fans won’t miss a single down of the action, rodeo fans will see every second of bull riding, and the friends and loved ones of Smith-Cotton High School graduates won’t miss a single smile. The best part is there is zero cost to taxpayers.”

The new production system will also be opened up to students at State Fair Community College and the University of Central Missouri to learn about live television production. “Students will have the opportunity to get the feel of what live TV is all about,” said Rooks. “With ads from sponsors to take care of and balancing that with the action on the arena floor, this is sure to be a fast-paced learning experience.” Advertising opportunities are available for all events, with a portion of those proceeds returning to the State Fair and Missouri taxpayers.

JAM Marketing is located in Sedalia, and is owned and operated by John Rooks. Rooks received a degree in electronics in 1992 from State Fair Community College. Rooks is a well respected expert in the design, placement and implementation of audio and video systems. His experience in management for a major corporate retailer, combined with the knowledge he acquired while working in the audio-visual market for the last 10 years, launched his passion for business and video advertising.
