Dr. Rodger Campbell has been named the new Medical Director of Bothwell Regional Health Center’s Emergency Department. A longtime provider in Bothwell’s Emergency Department, Dr. Campbell began his new duties in September.
He received his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. He completed a residency in family medicine through the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s Truman East Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Campbell is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
“Dr. Campbell has been practicing at Bothwell since 2006, and we’re glad to see him take on this expanded role in overseeing medical care in our Emergency Department,” said John Dawes, president and CEO of Bothwell Regional Health Center.
As medical director, Dr. Campbell is employed by the Schumacher Group, which provides the physicians and nurse practitioners in the Emergency Department. The Schumacher Group, based in Louisiana, is the nation’s largest privately held emergency medicine staffing and management company.
Dr. Campbell replaces Dr. Scott Dudley, who remains with the Schumacher Group and will still provide care occasionally at Bothwell.
