Ernest Wayne “Ernie” Crouch, 53, of Sedalia, died  Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at Community Hospital in Fairfax, Mo.

He was born March 25, 1959, in Sedalia, son of Donald and Georgia Lampkins Crouch. On May 23, 1986, in Sedalia, he married Pamela June Timbers, who survives of the home.

Ernie was a commercial painter. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the NRA.

In addition to his wife, who was his companion for 37 years, he is survived by two children, Rachel Smykal, and her husband, Bryan, of Wallace, ID, and Rusty Crouch, of Sedalia; six sisters, five brothers and two step-brothers.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Crouch, and his mother, Georgia Holman.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 at 901 E. 9th St., Sedalia.

Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
