JROTC Raiders compete In Iowa

The Smith Cotton JROTC Raider Team competed in Des Moines Iowa on Saturday Sept. 29. Starting at 5 a.m. in Des Moines Iowa, the Raiders competed in the PT Test, 10 Kilometer Road March, One Rope Bridge, Biathlon, Land Navigation (Compass Course), and Raider Challenge Course. The Raiders have been working very hard for their first meet in Iowa this year.

The Black Team was commanded by Cadet Captain Shelbi Davis. They placed third overall. They placed second in PT Testing, First in the 10 Kilometer Road March, second in the Biathlon, and fourth in One Road Bridge.

The Gold Team was commanded by Cadet Captain America Lerma. They placed third in the 10 Kilometer Road March and third on the One Rope Bridge.
