Hundreds of motorcyclists participated in the 10th annual Central Missouri March of Dimes Bikers for Babies RIDE fund-raiser to help fight premature birth on Saturday, Sept. 29.

There were three starting options in central Missouri — some participants began in Jefferson City at the Bee Line in Apache Flats, others began their ride from  Sedalia at the Swine Pavilion at the Missouri State Fairgrounds, and some from Columbia at Mid America Harley- Davidson.

The ride from Sedalia began at 11 a.m. with escorts and traffic control provided by Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s deputies. All motorcyclists rode to the Isle of Capri Casino in Boonville.

Each rider and each passenger donated at least $25 to participate in the event, which included a Bikers for Babies Ride pin, lunch and live music by Billy McDow & The Bootleggers.

Presenting sponsors for the Bikers for Babies RIDE included Isle of Capri Casino-Boonville, Mid America Harley-Davidson, Bee Line, and Full Circle Motorcycle Association. Media sponsors included KRCG 13 and 96.7 KCMQ.
