The children from Amigos de Cristo honored the people who died on 9/11, and all those who serve, with a project done Tuesday. Sept. 11.

The Youth Group and Boy Scout Troop 300 will help clean up the creek area behind Save A Lot, as a community service project.

To create awareness of all the cultures which make up our community, they also decorated the windows of the Amigos passenger van. The various flags and symbols represent the diversity of our community.

They painted with Sharpie markers and the drawings are only visible from the interior, when sun shines on them. The drawings make shadows on the passengers who ride in the seats. Photo submitted by Mary Kindle.
