Sedalia student chosen to go to France with AFS

Mick Moore, center, pictured with his parents, Melinda and Kevin Moore, Sedalia, has been selected to participate in the AFS Intercultural Student Exchange Program during the upcoming school year. He will live with a family in France and attend school there for the second semester of his junior year.

AFS-USA, formerly called American Field Service, is a student exchange founded after WWII by a group of American ambulance drivers serving in Europe. The mission of AFS-USA is to work toward a more just and peaceful world by providing international and intercultural learning experiences to individuals, families, schools and communities through a global volunteer partnership.
