The Smith-Cotton Tigers were crushed by the Jeff City Helias Crusaders Friday night at Jennie Jaynes Stadium, where the Tigers played their first home game of the season. Steady rain, courtesy of the remnants Hurricane Isaac, persisted throughout the contest, which was won by Helias, 35-6. The football Tigers travel to Columbia this Friday night to take on Hickman High. Photos by Randy Kirby, Sedalia News Journal.
