The annual Camp Blue Sky showcase was held Friday afternoon on the SFCC campus with a ‘Far Out East’ theme. About 265 children participated in the week-long fine arts program. Camp Blue Sky was founded and sponsored by the Cooney Endowment for the Arts.
Barbara Cooney introduced SFCC President Dr. Marsha Drennon at the closing ceremony, held just south of the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Building. The event was assisted throughout the week by 38 teen counselors as well as a 12-member board of directors, a 26-member auxiliary board of directors and a 16-member faculty.
