A blown tire resulted in injuries to three women at 8:55 p.m. July 29 in Pettis County, on Highway 65 north of John Road, according to the Highway Patrol.
Sustaining minor injuries were Susie J. Priesmeyer, 33, Charmaine D. Ward, 31, and Nakesha L. Windfield, 21, all of Sedalia. Only Ward was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
The patrol said the accident occurred as a tire on a 2004 Nissan, driven south by Priesmeyer, blew out. The driver lost control of the car, which traveled off the road and struck a traffic signal and then a pile of rocks before coming to rest. Damage to the vehicle was listed as extensiveby the patrol.
