The annual Fourth of July Parade was held in downtown Sedalia Wednesday morning at 10 a.m., hosted by Terry Cockrell and attended by hundreds. The event included a flag-raising ceremony by American Legion Post 642, the playing of the National Anthem and 21-gun salute from VFW Post 2591 Honors Team. It also featured a plethora of local politicians and their followers. The Fourth of July Celebration event continued later at Centennial Park.
