Pyle named Special Ed director for District 200

The Board of Education of the Sedalia #200 School District in closed session on Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, hired Mr. Chris Pyle to be the Special Education Director for the District for the 2012-2013 school year.

Prior to becoming the Assistant Principal at Sedalia Middle School for the past four years, Mr. Pyle was the Assistant Principal and Special Director in the Smithton School system for three years and a then a Special Ed teacher for three years.  He originally came to work for the Sedalia School District as a Special Ed teacher in 1999, and was the Middle School Teacher of the Year for Sedalia in 2001-02.

Mr. Pyle received his Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from the University of Central Missouri, his Master’s Degree in Elementary and Secondary Administration from William Woods University, and his Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Administration from William Woods University.

In the summertime, Chris is a professional rodeo announcer.  He and his wife, Lisa, have two children.
