Franklin Dean Casto, 74, of Sedalia died Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at his home. He was born on May 5, 1937, in Lincoln, Mo., a son of William and Edna Robison Casto.
In 1976, he was married to Glenda Greer, who preceded him in death in June of 2009.
He worked at Duke Manufacturing and had lived most of his life in Sedalia.
He is survived by a son, Billy Casto, of Sedalia; a daughter, Penny Lynn Oxley, of Lee’s Summit, a step son, Jim Greer, state of Iowa; three step daughters, Debra Nicoll and her husband Dennis, Sedalia, Joanna Williams, Jefferson City and Patty Jo Baucom, Centralia; a sister, Jean Lottus, Kansas City, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Besides his wife, he was predeceased by a sister, Frances Groff; a brother, Ivan Casto; and a half-brother, Jim Robison.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
