Proceeds from the evening of dining, dancing, chances for prizes, and a live auction will support students in the college’s allied health and fine and performing arts programs as well as the Daum Museum of Contemporary Art.
More than 280 people attended the foundation’s fourth fundraising gala in the Stauffacher Center for the Fine Arts on campus.
The foundation that night also announced a $500,000 donation from the estates of Robert W. Mason and his son Mark W. Mason to be used for student scholarships.
“The support we received from so many individuals, area businesses and gala guests is amazing,” said Jackie Almquist, executive director of the foundation, “Their generosity, combined with the Masons’ wonderful estate gift, will provide much-needed scholarship funding for our students.”
