Fred Lee Roy Taylor, 74, of Sedalia died on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at his home.
He was born on July 9, 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri son of William and Roseanna Allman Taylor. He was married on July 3, 1989 in Sedalia to Veronica Barrett and she survives of the home.
Mr. Taylor attended school in Kansas City, Mo. He worked as a foreman for Union Pacific Rail Road. He was a member of the Colony Baptist Church in Edwards, Mo. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Besides his wife he is survived by five sons; Fred Taylor, Jr. and his wife Christy of Otterville, James Taylor and his wife Vanessa of Sedalia, James Hilton and his wife Glinda of Leeton, David Hilton and his wife Donna of St. Louis, John Hilton and his wife Michelle of Ionia, four daughters; Tracy Kosman of Kansas City, Missouri, Pamela Hilton and her husband Joe of Lincoln, Nebraska, Stacy Maatman and her husband Dan of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Misty Smith and her husband Edward of Sedalia, two brothers; Charles Taylor of Peculiar, Missouri, Kenneth Taylor of Edwards, Mo., two sisters; Wanda McCall and Marcella Tindle both of Kansas City, Kan., 31 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son; Tom Taylor, one brother; Bill Taylor.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Chaplain William Douglas officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to Crossroads Hospice or the Dialysis Clinic.
