Joyce Rose Brosch, 73, of Savannah, formerly of Sedalia, died Friday, March 16, 2012, at LaVerna Village Nursing Home in Savannah. Prior to her nursing home time, she lived next door with the Sisters of St. Francis in their mother home. She was with the nuns for nearly 23 years.
She was born Sept. 25, 1938, in Sedalia, to the late Lawrence and Rose Brosch. She was raised and educated in Sedalia. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and attended Sacred Heart School.
Joyce is survived by her elder brother, Larry Brosch, of Raytown, and her younger brother, Bill Brosch, of Branson.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel with Father Mark Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time.
