Kiwanis celebrate 90th anniversary

Members of the Sedalia Kiwanis Club gathered around Sedalia Mayor Elaine Horn as she signed a proclamation Monday morning observing the 90th anniversary of the club, which was chartered locally on March 22, 1922 and became the 710th club to be chartered by Kiwanis International. Kiwanis was originally founded in 1915.

The Sedalia Kiwanis Club supports Melita Day Care, Open Door, Community Cafe, ABC, Pettis County Early Childhood, RBI Baseball, Sedalia Travelers, Feed the Kids, BUGS at Skyline and other programs with their fund-rasing dollars.
