During the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri’s Sedalia Middle School Club EXPO on May 5, Joe Jerek with the Missouri Department of Conservation announced that the Club’s Sedalia Middle School site has been named the $600 grand-prize winner for their “Blast Trash Out of This World” submission in the No MOre Trash “Yes You CAN Make Missouri Litter Free” trash can decorating contest.
According to the No MOre Trash contest rules, the goal of the contest was to raise awareness and discourage littering. The entries were judged based on creativity, adherence to the contest rules and effective use of theme and logo.
