Clinton ‘Skeet’ Roy Shoemaker

Clinton “Skeet” Roy Shoemaker, 57, of Sedalia, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at Bothwell Regional Health Center. He was born on March 21, 1954, in Allegan, Michigan, a son of Roy and Harriet (Foller) Shoemaker.

 He loved working on lawn mowers and spending time with his grandkids.

 Besides his special friend Jeannie Collier, he is survived by his three daughters, Belinda Kendall of Michigan, Jamie Torres of Cole Camp, Misty Fox and her husband Scott of Sedalia; three sons, Michael Shoemaker of Springfield, Clint Shoemaker and his wife Jennifer of Mora, Joe Shoemaker and his wife Beth of Smithton; two sisters, Gail Fruehaus and Marion Peterson both of Michigan and thirteen grandchildren, Clayton, Madilyn, Lacey, Sara, Payten, Savannah, Samantha, Shania, Seth, Layla, Alex Andre and David.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Ruth Engelman; three brothers, Richard and Doug Shoemaker and Edwin Engelman.

 A memorial service will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 29  at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Sedalia, with Rev. Corbett Martin officiating.

 The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Bethlehem Baptist Church in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
